The Cuvilliés-Theater (Altes Residenztheater/Old Residence Theater), is a magnificent Rococo theater built in 1751-1753 by Francois Cuvilliés. It has four rows of boxes using different designs and decorations. The most lavish is the Prince Elector’s box. The theater is still in frequent use.
